Professional regulations regarding professional liability insurance:

Under the Federal Lawyers’ Act (BRAO), attorneys are required to maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of 250,000 euros. The details are set forth in § 51 BRAO. The professional liability insurer for the law firm Schaffrath & Metzmacher is:

The geographical scope of the insurance coverage includes activities in the member states of the European Union and thus meets, at a minimum, the requirements of § 51 of the Federal Lawyers' Act (BRAO).
